Answers to your concerns about acne & marks.
Should I pop a whitehead if it looks ready?
Ideally, no. Popping can push bacteria deeper and cause scarring. If you must, use a sterile needle and gentle pressure, then apply a patch.
What is the difference between acne and rosacea?
Acne usually involves clogged pores (blackheads/whiteheads). Rosacea is vascular (redness, flushing) and bumps without plugs. Treatments are very different.
Does chocolate cause acne?
Sugar and dairy are more common triggers than cocoa itself. High-glycemic foods spike insulin, which can increase oil production.
Why am I breaking out in my 30s?
Adult acne is often hormonal (cyclical breakouts on the chin/jaw) or caused by stress (cortisol spikes). It requires a gentler approach than teen acne.
How do I fade red acne marks (PIE)?
Post-Inflammatory Erythema (redness) is vascular. Time, hydration, Azelaic Acid, and vascular lasers are the best treatments.
